Apple TV+ Orders Psychological Thriller ‘Surface’

No Plot Details Are Available at Press Time

Streamer Apple TV+ has given a straight-to-series order to “Surface,” a new psychological thriller for 2021 from Veronica West with Gugu Mbatha-Raw and produced by Apple Studios and Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine. It stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw and there are no plot details available. West will serve as executive producer, along with Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter executive producing on behalf of Hello Sunshine. Mbatha-Raw will serve as co-executive producer. 

Most recently, West co-created and executive produced “High Fidelity” starring Zoe Kravitz and served as a co-executive producer on the upcoming reboot of Showtime’s “Dexter.”
