When buying a new iPhone, you will quickly realize that your options are limited. Only the latest devices are available from Apple, but even those tend to be pretty expensive. However, if you are open to looking at older devices, you will find that the options are many. You can easily find one that will fit your needs and, most importantly, a device that will fit within your budget.  You will also have more things to judge the phones by, for example, screen size, cameras, TouchID or FaceID, notch or no notch, and many more. Some of the options you will have are the iPhone 11, iPhone X, iPhone XR, and iPhone XS. All of them are great phones to buy, so let’s dive into what makes each of them a great option.

Apple iPhone XR

The iPhone XR is a great option for a refurbished iPhone because it combines performance, good cameras, and impressive battery life at a nice price point.  It comes with a decent-sized 6.1 inches display and a speedy Apple’s A12 Bionic chip to become one of the best phones you can buy refurbished. The iPhone XR has an impressive 11.5 hours battery life, and if that doesn’t convince you, maybe the numbers will. It has 3GB of RAM and is offered in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options. The phone can be updated to the iOS 14 and still receives software updates from Apple.  The iPhone XR’s design is almost flawless hence why Apple did minor tweaks to it for the iPhone 11.

Apple iPhone 11

The iPhone 12 was released recently, and its highlight features were 5G, Magsafe, and new phone designs. However, if what you want is a decent iPhone with an impressive performance, the iPhone 11 is a good bet. Seeing as it is not the latest iPhone in the market, it is now affordable, and you will get value for your money if you were to buy it. Currently, the iPhone 12s A14 Bionic is the fastest mobile chip, but the A13 Bionic CPU in the iPhone 11 remains one of the fastest chips on a mobile device to date.   As one of the flagships to beat from 2019, it had the best specs put in an iPhone; hence you won’t be disappointed by it.  Coming in at a lower price than the iPhone XR, it still came with the same size 6.1-inch display on a premium feeling body and many colors to choose from.  The dual-camera setup of 12MP each came with updated sensors and operating system.

Generally, the iPhone 11 looked and felt much like the iPhone XR, but it was the upgrades on the inside that differentiated them. It was still an expensive phone. That aside, it is possible to find it as a refurbished device for a much lower price today.

Apple iPhone X

Hello Notch. When it was released, the iPhone X marked a huge leap in Apple’s phone designs. Going for an all-screen look, it was the first time the modern iPhones sported the notch and lost the home button.  Everyone wanted it then, and while it has been a few years since it was released, we can confidently report it is still as interesting as it was the first time. It had a 5.8-inch OLED display, but its screen-to-body ratio meant that it looked smaller than the iPhone 8 it replaced. Also on the front is the notch, which housed the FaceID sensors. The dual-camera setup on the rear comprised two 12MP shooters capable of 4K video, portrait mode, and many more adventurous shooting scenarios. The iPhone X came in with iOS 11, but it still receives regular software updates and improved battery life by 2 hours from the iPhone 8.

When it was launched, it was pretty costly, and if you wanted additional features, the price easily became infeasible for most people. That said, enough time has passed since release, and many iPhone models have come out to replace it and you can buy a refurbished one for a good price.

Apple iPhone XS

The iPhone XS has the same 5.8-inch OLED display as the iPhone X. In many respects, it looked much like the iPhone X and performed close to it.  It came with Apple’s A12 Bionic chip, and storage options were 64GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. On the back, it has a dual 12MP camera setup, and the front-facing camera was 7MP.  FaceID was now in its second generation and had massive improvements, which could be said for the overall phone. It had incremental updates over the iPhone X, which made it the better one.
