  1. According to Nielsen overnights:

Warriors win No. 73 on ESPN: 2.7 (best on ESPN for regular season, non-Xmas); 23.22 local rating on CSN Bay Area in San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose (record for NBA regular season game on any regional sports net in the U.S.)

Kobe’s last game on ESPN2: 2.6 (best NBA regular season game rating ever on ESPN2); 6.5 local rating in Los Angeles (best-ever in L.A. for NBA regular season game on either ESPN or ESPN3)

    • Thanks for these numbers I had a feeling Kobe would put up a great fight against the Warriors as that was the game I paid attention to the most I could care less about the Warriors game since I still feel that the 1995-96 are the better team.

  2. I love that The Voice not only got beat by Survivor, but also The Middle and The Goldbergs. They are running that show into the ground trying (and failing) to use it as a big lead-in to their new series. Outside of the Chicago shows, it hasn’t been successful… and people are getting sick of seeing The Voice on the schedule so often.

    • I agree that NBC should limit The Voice airings. Although what IS good, is that unlike the last few seasons, they haven’t been replaying episodes on Saturdays and Sundays. That was overkill to the extreme.

ABC Wednesday Prime (8-11pm – 5.8 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49): ABC’s Wednesday lineup held exactly even week to week in Adults 18-49 and beat NBC with The Voice and the 2-hour series debut of Strong by 25% (1.5/5 vs. 1.2/4). Closing the gap with Empire week to week by 4-tenths at 9pm, ABC’s Modern Family was Wednesday’s #2 TV show in Adults 18-49 (2.2/7).

The Middle/The Goldbergs (8-9pm – 6.5 million and 1.7/6 in AD18-49): Finishing within 2-tenths of Survivor (1.9/7) from 8-9pm, ABC’s The Middle (1.7/6) and The Goldbergs (1.8/6) beat NBC’s special The Voice by 6% in each half-hour among Adults 18-49 (1.6/6 and 1.7/6) and dominated their scripted competition in the hour by 42% over Fox’s Rosewood (1.2/4).

    · Despite increased competition from The Voice in the hour, The Middle (1.7/6) and The Goldbergs (1.8/6) held even week to week in Adults 18-49..

Modern Family/black-ish (9-10pm – 6.6 million and 1.9/6 in AD18-49): Opposite Empire in the 9pm hour, ABC took 2nd place in Adults 18-49 (1.9/6) with Modern Family and black-ish holding an 12% advantage over 3rd-place CBS (1.7/6 for Criminal Minds) andbeating 4th-place NBC by 90% with the first hour of Strong (1.0/3).

    · Modern Family (2.2/7) and black-ish (1.6/5) held steady week to week in Adults 18-49 while black-ish gained Total Viewers(+4% – 5.7 million vs. 5.5 million).

Nashville (10-11pm – 4.2 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49): At 10pm, ABC’s Nashville beat the final hour of NBC’s Strong debut in Total Viewers (+35% – 4.2 million vs. 3.1 million) and Adults 18-49 (+11% – 1.0/3 vs. 0.9/3). The ABC drama was up for the 2nd week in Total Viewers (+5% – 4.2 million vs. 4.0 million) and gained 11% in Adults 18-49 (1.0/3 vs. 0.9/3), earning a 5-month high with young adults– since 11/18/15. Live + 3 Day Ratings for Last Wednesday (4/6/16): ABC’s Nashville was last Wednesday’s biggest broadcast gainer among Adults 18-49 with a +67% jump over its L+SD rating (from a 0.9 to a 1.5 in L+3).

  4. What did everyone think about that tribal council on Survivor last night? Unreal! I have never seen anything like it.

    • Tribal was crazy, I truly did not know who was being voted out…I do understand why they got rid of Debbie but they should of flushed the idols….Debbie would of stayed loyal and would of seen that Julia could not be trusted.

The problem now is that the Idol is still there….so will the girls alliance eat there own again next week? The guys have this IMO….that old FBI agent (Joe?) was right…flush the idol and just go with the plan. They would of dominated thereafter, but instead they will be picked off one by one.

Tia is number 3 but he is well liked…it may be better for the two guys to take Julia who IMO will betray them.

Julia could win this if she wiggles her way into the alliance of men…especially if the guys stupidly continue to play silly kids game and destroy their chances by sabotaging the tribe, dumb move IMO

  5. I honestly didn’t pay attention to primetime last night it was way too big of a sports night and my attention around this time of year starts shifting to baseball and playoffs for the NBA and NHL and these numbers seem to reflect that. Man Kobe was awesome getting that 60 point performance on his way out the door very cool scene in Los Angeles late last night.

NBC is starting to run The Voice into the ground they need to using it to boost every little thing that debuts especially shows that we know are going to fail out of the gate before they even debut like Strong which I knew had no chance of becoming a hit for them or even a solid ratings player. Some of their successful shows like Laura, SVU, Chicago PD, Chicago Fire (season 1), and Shades of Blue never needed The Voice boost like that although SVU has been around for over 15 years to be fair.

Strong just flat out DOA, really didn’t need a show like this on the air and John Cena’s new dud tonight will premiere even worse.

Those ABC comedies are really falling off man the viewership for all of their comedies are starting to look real bad right now. Once Modern Family and The Middle are gone which I think is going to happen within another couple of years I’ll say by the end of the decade this comedy block is dead and ABC will be really struggling in their comedy division.

Beyond Borders is a failure as this was another week where the show could’ve really taken advantage of the lack of competition in the slot and no Chicago PD. These are the kind of weeks where Beyond Borders needs to get a 1.6 or 1.7, if I’m CBS I’ll probably bring it back and cancel it next season if the numbers don’t improve. I love Gary Senise but just like the quality of the show he and the show just flat out sucks it’s way worse than Suspect Behavior. I wished CBS would’ve saved him for a CSI: NY reboot in a few years.
