CBS Renews Monday Comedies for the 2021-22 Season

Both 'The Neighborhood' and 'Bob Hearts Abishola' Confirmed to Return

CBS has greenlit Monday night comedies “The Neighborhood” and “Bob Hearts Abishola” for the 2021-22 TV season (with an unconfirmed number of new episodes). This will take “The Neighborhood”, starring Cedric the Entertainer, Max Greenfield, Beth Behrs, Tichina Arnold, Sheaun McKinney, Marcel Spears and Hank Greenspan, into season four; and “Bob Hearts Abishola”, from Chuck Lorre and starring Billy Gardell, Folake Olowofoyeku, Christine Ebersole, Matt Jones, Maribeth Monroe, Vernee Watson, Shola Adewusi, Barry Shabaka Henley, Travis Wolfe, Jr., Gina Yashere, Bayo Akinfemi and Anthony Okungbowa, into season three.

Both Monday night sitcoms are producing fewer episodes this season than the standard 22 half-hours due to restrictions caused by COVID-19.
