Metered Markets

Household Rating/Share
CBS: 22.4/34, NBC: 2.2/ 3, ABC: 1.9/ 3, Fox: 1.7/ 3

Note: Comparisons to the year-ago evening are excluded due to Fox airing the AFC Championship.

Ratings Breakdown:
It was no contest, of course, with the New England Patriots victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on the AFC Championship at an estimated 27.6 rating/43 share in the household overnights from 6:45-9:45 p.m. ET. The adult 18-49 rating was a 17.2, and the peak half-hour was a 30.0/44 at 8:30 p.m. Comparably, this was right on par with the year-ago AFC Championship match-up on Fox. Results for any live sporting event, as always, are estimated.

Ignited by the NFL match-up, CBS reality/competition “Hunted” was sampled at a dominant (and also approximate) 7.1/12 in the household overnights from 10:08-11:08 p.m. ET. “Hunted” debuts in its regularly scheduled Wednesday 8 p.m. time period with a two-hour installment this week.

Elsewhere, the results were slim. NBC populated the evening with a 90-minute encore telecast of “Dateline”(3.5/ 5 from 7-8:30 p.m.) into a repeat of 2012 theatrical “Ted” (1.5/ 2 from 8:30-11 p.m.). ABC was also in all repeats care of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” (#3: 2.7/ 4 at 7 p.m.), two episodes of “To Tell the Truth” #3: 1.9/ 3 from 8-10 p.m.) and “Quantico” (#3: 1.2/ 2 at 10 p.m.), which moves into the Monday 10 p.m. hour this evening. And Fox aired repeats of “Son of Zorn” (#4: 2.6/ 4), “Bob’s Burgers” (#4: 1.7/ 2) and “The Simpsons” (#4: 1.7/ 3) from 7-8:30 p.m., an original installment of “Son of Zorn” (#4: 1.3/ 2 at 8:30 p.m.) and 9-10 p.m. encores of “Family Guy” (#4: 1.5/ 2) and another episode of “Bob’s Burgers” (#4: 1.4/ 2).
