David E. Kelley to Adapt ‘Anatomy of a Scandal’ for Netflix

Six Episodes Ordered for Season One

David E. Kelley is teaming with Melissa Gibson (“House of Cards”) on a six-episode anthology series on Netflix adapted from author Sarah Vaughan’s international best-selling book. The series, which is expected to focus on a different subject in each season (should it get renewed), is described as an insightful and suspenseful drama about a sexual consent scandal among the British privileged elite and the women caught up in its wake. S.J. Clarkson (“Jessica Jones,” “The Defenders”) will direct and exec produce all six episodes of the series, which will film in the U.K.

Kelley and Gibson will serve as writers, executive producers and showrunners on “Anatomy of a Scandal.” No casting has been announced at present
