Netflix Greenlights New Legal Drama ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’

Ten Episodes Ordered

Netflix has announced a 10-episode series order for “The Lincoln Lawyer” from executive producer and writer David E. Kelley and A+E Studios. The logline: Mickey Haller, an iconoclastic idealist, runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car, as he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles. Based on the series of bestselling novels by author Michael Connelly, the first season is based on the second book in “The Lincoln Lawyer” series, “The Brass Verdict.”

Connelly will executive produce with Kelley, showrunner/writer Ted Humphrey (“The Good Wife”), and Ross Fineman (“Goliath”).

“The Lincoln Lawyer” was originally in contention at CBS, which passed on it.
