Friday Ratings: ABC and Fox Share Modest Dominance

ABC: 2.86 million; CBS: 2.81, NBC: 2.62, Fox: 1.79, CW: 273,000

Adults 18-49:
Fox: 0.5 rating/4 share, ABC: 0.4/ 3, NBC: 0.3/ 2, CBS: 0.2/ 2m CW: 0.0/ 0

In season premiere news was ABC docuseries “Emergency Call”, which returned with 2.86 million viewers (32) and a 0.3 rating/3 share (#2t) in the Friday 8 p.m. ET hour. And that led into veteran “20/20” (Viewers: #1, 2.86 million; A18-49: #1, 0.4/ 3), which had a slight advantage over NBC’s competing “Dateline” (Viewers: #3, 2.40 million; A18-49: #2, 0.3/ 2) from 9-11 p.m.

Elsewhere. “WWE Friday Night Smackdown!” on Fox led the evening in adults 18-49 (see network averages above). NBC’s “The Blacklist” was typical at 3.04 million viewers (#1) and a 0.3/ 3 in the demo (#2t). The CW’s “Dynasty” scored an embarrassing 231,000 viewers (#5) with no registered delivery in adults 18-49. And this was a series that got renewed!

CBS. meanwhile, was in all repeats.
