Hulu to Stream Syfy’s ’12 Monkeys’

Deal Also Includes 'Battlestar Galactica,' 'Saved By the Bell' and Various Children's Series

Hulu has announced an agreement with NBCUniversal that will make all episodes of Syfy’s time-travel thriller “12 Monkeys” to the streaming service effective on Wednesday, February 24th. “12 Monkeys” from Universal Cable Productions will return for its second season on Syfy on Monday, April 18th at 9PM ET and viewers will be able to catch up on the entire first season on Hulu through Hulu’s No Commercials and Limited Commercial subscription plans.

Through the deal, Hulu also acquires a full library of programming for series “Battlestar Galactica” and “Saved by the Bell,” which are available to screen now, and episodes of various children’s series (including “Bob the Builder,” “Thomas and Friends” and “Barney.”

Based on the Bruce Willis theatrical of the same name, “12 Monkeys” follows the journey of Cole (Aaron Stanford), a time traveler sent back in time from a dark, hellish future to prevent it from ever happening. Joining forces in the present with Dr. Railly (Amanda Schull), Cole must defeat a centuries-old malevolent organization known as the Army of the 12 Monkeys.
