Julia Roberts to Headline Drama ‘The Last Thing He Told Me’ for Apple TV+

Series Expected in 2021

Oscar winner Julia Roberts will star in and executive produce the limited series “The Last Thing He Told Me” for Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine production company. Based on the novel of the same name coming out in May, Roberts will play a woman whose husband mysteriously vanishes. As she tries to piece together the truth behind his disappearance, she develops a special bond with her teenage stepdaughter.

Executive producing “The Last Thing He Told Me” are Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine; Roberts, Marisa Yeres Gill and Lisa Gillan through their Red Om Films banner as well as Dave and Singer. No addition casting other than Roberts has been announced.
