Modest Start for ‘Candy Crush’ on CBS

Ratings Breakdown:
In series premiere news, CBS game show “Candy Crush” squandered the lead-in support from “Big Brother” with a modest (and second-place) 2.4 rating/4 share in the household overnights from 9-10 p.m. Comparably, that was 40 percent below the 4.0/ 7 for “Big Brother” from 8-9 p.m.

Elsewhere, recently introduced NBC newsmagazine “Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly” remained a bust a a third-place 2.2/ 4 from 7-8 p.m. The biggest draw amongst the original ABC game shows on Sunday remained “Celebrity Family Feud,” hosted by Steve Harvey, at a dominant 4.4/ 8 at 8 p.m. Sophomore “American Grit” on Fox, meanwhile, was off the overnight charts at 0.8/ 1 from 9-10 p.m.
