Fast Affiliate Ratings

Total Viewers:
CBS: 5.67 million, NBC: 4.65, ABC: 3.89, Fox: 2.99, CW: 464,000

Adults 18-49:
ABC and NBC: 0.6 rating/4 share each, CBS: 0.5/ 4, Fox: 0.4/ 3, CW: 0.1/ 1

Veteran “NCIS” lifted CBS to another Monday total viewer win, with 7.06 million viewers (and a third place 0.6 rating/4 share in adults 18-49) in the 9 p.m. ET hour. That led into a dominant 4.95 million viewers and a 0.4/ 3 in the demo at 10 p.m. for spin-off “NCIS: Hawai’i.” Needless to say, “NCIS” has jump-started CBS on Monday in its total viewer tally. But it is also down by double-digit percentages from its former Tuesday 8 p.m. hour.

Earlier in the evening on CBS was the compatible 8-9 p.m. pairing on sitcoms “The Neighborhood” (Viewers: #2, 5.19 million; A18-49: #4, 0.6/ 4) and “Bob Hearts Abishola” (Viewers: #2, 4.81 million; A18-49: #4, 0.5/ 3).

In the battle of aging competition series “Dancing With the Stars” on ABC and “The Voice” on NBC, “The Voice” had the advantage in total viewers while the two tied in adults 18-49 as follows:

“Dancing With the Stars (ABC)
Viewers: 4.79 million (#3), Adults 18-49: 0.7/ 5 (#1)

“The Voice” (NBC)
Viewers: 5.98 million (#2), Adults 18-49: 0.7/ 5 (#1t)

Both series pale in comparison to what they once were (which, for NBC, is disappointing given the high profile arrival of Ariana Grande this season).

“Dancing With the Stars” led into 10 p.m. special “Backstage Pass: Countdown to the CMA Awards” (Viewers: #2, 2.11 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.3/ 2), while NBC featured the pilot episode of Peacock mystery thriller “The Lost Symbol” (Viewers: #3, 1.99 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.3/ 2).

Elsewhere, Fox’s freshman “The Big Leap” (Viewers: #4, 1.16 million; A18-49: #4, 0.2/ 1 at 9 p.m.) continued to take a big leap out of lead-in “9-1-1” (Viewers: #4, 4.83 million; A18-49: #1t, 0.7/ 5 at 8 p.m.). And The CW’s recent arrival of the reboot of “The 4400” (Viewers: #5, 356,000; A18-49: #5, 0.1/ 0 at 9 p.m.) remained a bust out of critically-acclaimed drama “All American” (Viewers: #5, 572,000; A18-49: #5, 0.2/ 1 at 8 p.m.). At present, “All American” is the only CW series cracking about a 0.1 rating in adults 18-49 based on these fast affiliate ratings.
