‘Mortal Kombat X: Machinima’s Chasing the Cup’ Coming to The CW Seed

Season-Finale to Air on The CW

The CW is teaming up with Machinima and Warner Bros. to bring the third season of “Machinima’s Chasing the Cup” digital series on CW Seed. “Mortal Kombat X: Machinima’s Chasing the Cup” follows five of the world’s top-ranked Mortal Kombat X players. The logline: Viewers are given a behind-the-scenes look at the passion, dedication, skill and sacrifice it takes to become one of the best players in the world.

The first three episodes will air on CW Seed, with the season finale, featuring the championship of the ESL Mortal Kombat X Pro League Finals with contestants battling for $100,000 in prize money, to air on The CW as a one-hour primetime special on Monday, Feb. 15, at 8 p.m. ET
