Netflix Announces Adult Animated ‘Chicago Party Aunt’

Netflix has ordered a new adult animated comedy series, “Chicago Party Aunt”, from creators Chris Witaske, Jon Barinholtz, and Katie Rich. The logline: “Chicago Party Aunt” is a half-hour animated comedy that follows Diane Dunbrowski, AKA The Chicago Party Aunt, as she stays true to her mantra ‘If life gives you lemons, turn that shit into Mike’s Hard Lemonade.

The creators and executive producers are Chris Witaske, Jon Barinholtz and Katie Rich. The showrunner is Matt Craig. The voice cast includes Lauren Ash as Diane Dunbrowski, Rory O’Malley, RuPaul Charles, Jill Talley, Ike Barinholtz, Jon Barinholtz, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Katie Rich and Chris Witaske.

Sixteen episodes of “Chicago Party Aunt” have been ordered.
