Netflix to Remake Film ‘She’s All That’ As ‘He’s All That’

Film to Launch Globally Later This Year

Netflix has acquired the worldwide rights for a remake of 1999 teen romantic comedy “She’s All That” as “He’s All That” with Tiktok star Addison Rae and Tanner Buchanan from Miramax. The contemporary story will follow an influencer (Rae) who accepts a challenge to turn the school’s biggest loser (Buchanan) into prom king.

Mark Waters (“Mean Girls”, “Freaky Friday”) will direct, while R. Lee Fleming Jr., an original writer from “She’s All That”, is on board. The producers are Jennifer Gibgot, and Andrew Panay, with Bill Block producing for Miramax.

The cast includes Peyton Meyer, Isabella Crovetti, Annie Jacob, Myra Molloy, Rachael Leigh Cook and Matthew Lillard.
