Players Brawl During Broncos-Raiders Game

It has been a disappointing season for both the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders, so their Nov. 26 matchup was not the marquee game one would’ve thought it would be when entering this season. But it did manage to grab the attention of fans by way of an on-field brawl amongst some of the two teams’ players, primarily Raiders wide receiver Michael Crabtree and Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib. Both of these players were ejected from the game.

Crabtree and Talib previously had issues with each other, dating back to their skirmish during Week 17 of the 2016 season.

In both incidents, Talib ripped a gold chain worn by Crabtree. What may have precipitated the second fight was a punch first thrown by Crabtree upon another Broncos defender earlier in the game.

Suspensions from the NFL league office are sure to come for the players invoked in the Nov. 26 fight.
