Saturday Final Nationals: ESPN Wins Fifth Out of Six Consecutive Nights with Alamo Bowl

ESPN’s telecast of college football’s “Alamo Bowl,” featuring TCU coming back from a 0-31 deficit to beat Oregon 47-41 in triple overtime, brought the network its fifth prime time victory (among all of TV, including the broadcast networks) within six consecutive nights (Dec. 28-Jan. 2).
