‘SNL’: New Cast Member Sarah Sherman Keeps Trying to Get ‘Weekend Update’ Anchor Colin Jost in Trouble

Sarah Sherman is among the three new cast members to join NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” for its 47th season. During the November 13, 2021 edition of “Weekend Update“, it was her first chance to shine. And she delivered.

Sherman was tasked to recap this show’s first six episodes of the season thus far. She wondered, “Why is this show on so late? It’s not even Saturday anymore. It’s Sunday! You people are being lied to!“. But this and other similar questions she hilariously posed were mere setups to attempt getting anchor “Colin Jost” into figurative hot water.
