‘SNL’: ‘Sesame Street’ Elmo Gets Mad at Rocco the Rock Again on ‘Weekend Update’

During the “Weekend Update” portion on the January 15, 2022 edition of NBC’s “SNL” (“Saturday Night Live“), “Sesame Street” character Elmo (Chloe Fineman) appeared as a guest to discuss his recent viral moment. It was a clip of him back in a 2004 episode of “Sesame Street” getting upset at a rock named Rocco who ate his cookie. On Twitter, the scene caught the attention of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jada Pinkett Smith.

In a moment of deja vu, Elmo got upset again when he reunited with a “cookie-eating” Rocco on “SNL”.
