‘SNL’: Twerking Flautist Joins Orchestra on Short Notice

In a skit on the April 16, 2022 edition of NBC’s “SNL” (“Saturday Night Live“), the DeVry Institute Orchestra were rehearsing for their upcoming performance. Their conductor (Mikey Day) admitted something was missing.

As luck would have it, a seedy guy (Chris Redd) entered the room saying he manages his star “flutist” Beverly Gass (Lizzo).

The new flautist eventually admits she can only perform optimally if she simultaneously twerks as well. So she does not seem out of place, the rest of the orchestra twerks with her.
