Starz has greenlit crime drama “Hightown” for a second season after just four episodes of its eight episode first season. Debuting on May 17, “Hightown” follows Jackie Quiñones (Monica Raymund), a hard-partying gay woman living in Provincetown, Massachusetts, a National Fisheries Service Agent who uses her gun and badge to seduce tourist chicks. She’s none-too-enthusiastically putting in her time until she can draw a federal pension – but everything changes when she discovers a body in Cape Cod Bay, and finds herself at the center of the Cape’s gruesome heroin epidemic.
Season one of “Hightown” is scheduled to conclude on July 5. The series is available on the STARZ app, On Demand and on STARZ in the U.S. and Canada and day and date on the STARZPLAY international streaming service across Europe and Latin America.
