Green Bay-Washington on “Sunday Night Football” helped NBC win Sunday night overall.
ABC’s star-studded “American Music Awards” dipped to a record-low in ratings and viewership with a 4.7 U.S. household rating, 8.182 million total viewers and 3.105 million adults 18-49: down 26 percent in viewership and down 30 percent in adults 18-49 from the year-ago “AMAs” (11.007 million total viewers, 4.426 million adults 18-49 on 11/22/15); down 30 percent in viewership and down 36 percent in adults 18-49 from the year-ago “AMAs” (11.61 million total viewers, 4.848 million adults 18-49 on 11/23/14).
This low watermark comes three days after the Latin Grammys on Univision plummeted to its record-low in viewership.
As a positive for ABC, it was their best ratings performance in the Sunday 8-11 p.m. time frame since May 20 — the night they aired the “Billboard Music Awards.”
