Fran Drescher Would Pair with Rapper Cardi B

Reality star-turned-rapper Cardi B is in talks to play Fran Drescher’s daughter in a potential reboot of Drescher’s former CBS sitcom “The Nanny.” This time Cardi be would be the nanny character and Drescher her mother (played in the original sitcom, of course, by the great Renee Taylor).

The revival idea started when the “Bodak Yellow” rapper gave a shout out to the actress in an Instagram post last month. Cardi B was dressed in a leopard print and cheekily captioned the picture, “Fran Drescher in @dolcegabbana.”

Just recently, Drescher said in an interview she would be interested in a reboot if the right opportunity came along.
