TBS Cancels Sitcom ‘Angie Tribeca’

A Total of 40 Episodes Were Produced

TBS has opted against a fifth season of scripted comedy “Angie Tribeca.” Debuting on January 17, 2016 and created by Steve and Nancy Carell, the series followed Rashida Jones as Angie Tribeca, a 10-year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department’s elite RHCU (Really Heinous Crimes Unit), who is assigned a new partner. The format of each episode involved a different criminal case for the LAPD to solve. Also featured were Hayes MacArthur, Jere Burns, Deon Cole and Andree Vermeulen.

The decision to cancel “Angie Tribeca” comes shortly after the cancellation of comedy “Wrecked” in April.
