CBS Announces Seven New Scripted Series for 2019-20

CBS, which will unveil its programming plans for next season at Carnegie Hall in New York City next Wednesday, has confirmed seven new scripted series. There are four new comedies: “Carol’s Second Act,” starring Patricia Heaton; Chuck Lorre’s “Bob Hearts Abishola,” headlined by “Mike & Molly’s” Billy Gardell; “Broke,” starring Jaime Camil and former “NCIS” star Pauley Perrette;” and “The Unicorn,” headlined by Walter Goggins. The three new dramas are “Evil” from “The Good Wife” and “The Good Fight” creators Robert and Michelle King; a spin-off from Dick Wolf’s “FBI;” and “All Rise,” starring Simone Missick and Wilson Bethel.

What follows is a description of each of the seven new series:

COMEDIES
