Ratings Breakdown:
The return of Fox relationship/reality competition “Paradise Hotel,” hosted by Kristin Cavallari, after an 11-year absence warranted minimal interest, It scored a fourth-place 1.2 rating/2 share in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. ET. Comparably, this was 33 percent, on average, below the year-ago pairing of drama “Gotham” and music series “Showtime at the Apollo.”

In season finale news, CBS sitcom “Mom,” which is confirmed for two more seasons, concluded with a dominant 5.7/10 in households in the 9 p.m. half-hour. Comparably, this was 21 percent below lead-in “Young Sheldon” (#1: 7.2/12 at 8:30 p.m.) and it led into a 3.9/ 7 (#1) for on-the-fence “Life in Pieces” at 9:30 p.m.

Tops for the night, of course, was the eye net’s soon-to-conclude “The Big Bang Theory” at a dominant 8.9/16 at 8 p.m. And CBS capped off the evening with just renewed “S.W.A.T.” at a first-place 3.7/ 7 in the 10 p.m. hour. Comparably, that bested competing “Law & Order: SVU” on NBC (#2: 2.7/ 6) and ABC’s just canceled “For the People” (#3: 1.9/ 4) by 37 percent and 95 percent, respectively.

Elsewhere, The CW’s pairing of dramas ‘iZombie” (#5: 0.6/ 1 at 8 p.m.) and “In the Dark” (#5: 0.4/ 1 at 9 p.m.) remained off the overnight charts. And the 8-10 p.m. programming blocks on ABC and NBC were at typical household overnight levels as follows:
