Television Series Arriving on Netflix, Amazon and Hulu in May 2016

New original and off-network series titles for the month of May will appear on the streaming video services Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu.

Chelsea Handler returns to the talk show genre with Netflix’s “Chelsea” beginning Wednesday, May 11 at 3:01 a.m. ET. Her show will be presented in 30-minute episodes and new editions will be available every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Netflix will also debut new original series “Lady Dynamite” (May 20), a 12-episode half-hour offbeat comedy from Mitch Hurwitz (Arrested Development) and Pam Brady (South Park) starring comedian-actress Maria Bamford, in a semi-autobiographical role as an actress on the rise in Los Angeles.

Returning to Netflix for their second seasons during the month of May are the Jane Fonda-Lily Tomlin comedy “Grace and Frankie” (May 6), the critically-acclaimed family drama “Bloodline” (May 27) and docu-series “Chef’s Table” (May 27).

Also in May, several titles from the libraries of BBC and Turner networks appear on Hulu while several HBO and Cinemax programs will be made available on Amazon Prime.
