What will be the total Prize Money for 2022?
The Indian Wells Tennis tournament is underway in California, but just how much prize money can players expect to be up for grabs? The total prize money on offer for the Indian Wells Masters in 2022 is a staggering $9.2 million.
The Single’s champions can expect $1.2 million in prize money and 1000 points. Runners-up will get $646,000 and points. Simply qualifying for the main tournament itself and a first-round appearance, is enough for $18,200.
Rafael Nadal has been the best player on the ATP tour this year by a huge margin. The 21-time Grand Slam champion is on a 15-match unbeaten streak since the beginning of the 2022 season, marking his best-ever start to a year. The Spaniard is chasing his fourth consecutive title of the year, having already won the Melbourne Summer Set, the Australian Open, and the Mexican Open. I think Nadal is the man to beat at the Indian Wells Masters 2022. What do you think? Please share your thoughts in the comments below.
