‘The Big Bang Theory’ Heads to the Smithsonian

The Famed Museum Celebrates the Iconic Sitcom

Sheldon Cooper’s (Jim Parsons) super hero shirt over shirt…Howard Wolowitz’s (Simon Helberg) dickie and belt buckle…Amy Farrah Fowler’s (Mayim Bialik) knee-length skirt. All these and more will become part of history as they join the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C. The news was announced by series stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch during an appearance last night on CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Thursday.

In addition to the aforementioned items, “The Big Bang Theory” has also donated Leonard Hofstadter’s (Johnny Galecki) hooded cargo jacket and “Recycle” T-shirt, Penny’s (Kaley Cuoco) tank top and Ugg boots, Rajesh Koothrappali’s (Kumnal Nayyaer) sweater vest and jacket, and Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz’s (Melissa Rauch) floral dress and cardigan.
