The CW Announces Fall Premiere Dates

The CW has announced a “Band-Aid” schedule of sorts this fall until it regular line-up of programming is expected to begin in early 2021 (which, of course, is delayed due to the production shutdown caused by COVID-19). The roster will include the debut of “America’s Funniest Animals,” returning original dramas “Pandora” and “The Outpost,” acquired dramas “Devils” and “Swamp Thing,” and the final seven episodes of veteran “Supernatural.”

“World’s Funniest Animals” from Associated Television International makes its debut with back-to-back episodes on Friday, September 18 in the 9 p.m. ET hour following “Masters of Illusion.” The season two premiere of the one-hour fantasy series “Pandora” will air Sunday, October 4 at 8 p.m. ET.

Iconic DC character “Swamp Thing” makes its network television debut with a special 90-minute episode on Tuesday, October 6 (at 8 p.m. ET). The following week, “Swamp Thing” is joined on the night by the second season debut of the reimagined fairy tales of “Tell Me a Story.”

International financial conspiracy thriller “Devils,” starring Alessandro Borghi (“The First King: Birth of an Empire,” “Suburra”) and Patrick Dempsey (“The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair”) debuts Wednesday, October 7 at 8 p.m. ET, followed by an original episode of “Coroner.”

Fantasy adventure series “The Outpost” returns for its third season beginning Thursday, October 8 at 9 p.m. ET, following the return of “Supernatural.” The long-running journey of Sam and Dean Winchester reaches the end of the road on Thursday, November 19, following a special celebration on “Supernatural: The Long Way Home.”

The CW’s exclusive telecast of the annual concert event “IHeart Radio Music Festival” will air on consecutive nights, Sunday, September 27 and Monday, September 28.
