The CW Announces Midseason Schedule

The Reboot of 'Roswell, New Mexico' and New Drama 'In the Dark' to Debut

The CW has announced its midseason programming plans, which will include the debuts of reboot drama “Roswell, New Mexico” and “In the Dark,” a new time period for sophomore “Black Lightning,” and the return of “Jane the Virgin.”

“Roswell, New Mexico,” which follows the daughter of undocumented immigrants after she discovers her teenage crush is an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life, opens on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 9 p.m. ET (out of “The Flash”). Current time period occupant “Black Lightning” will move to Mondays at 9 p.m. after “Arrow” beginning on January 21 (and in place of “D.C.’s Legends of Tomorrow,” which will return in April after “Black Lightning” concludes for the season). 

Additionally, new series “In the Dark,” which focuses on a blind woman who is the only witness to the murder of her drug-dealing friend, will debut on Thursdays after Legacies” completes its 16-episode order. And “Jane the Virgin” will return for its final season on Wednesday nights in the spring once “All American” wraps for the season.
