CBS and ABC shared Thursday night leadership; CBS led in total viewers (7.26 million), while ABC won among adults 18-49 (1.7/6) and adults 18-34 (1.2/6).
CBS and ABC each led in adults 25-54 rating with a 2.1 but CBS earned the slight edge over ABC in adults 25-54 share (6.5 vs. 6.3).
The night’s top original cable telecast among adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 was the eighth season premiere of History’s “Swamp People.” Compared to its seventh premiere telecast on Feb. 8, 2016, the 9 p.m. premiere registered a 23 percent increase in total viewers (2.549 million vs. 2.072 million). The 10 p.m. telecast (2.356 million) also outdrew last year’s premiere.
