As positives, Yankees-Indians was up 15 percent Astros-Royals Game 1 on FS1 from Oct. 8, 2015 (3.3 million). The game peaked at 10:00-10:15 p.m. with 4.501 million viewers.
The game drew an 8.4 local rating/14 share in New York and a 24.0/36 in Cleveland — the best FS1 ratings ever in each respective market.
Earlier in the day on MLB Network, Boston Red Sox at Houston Astros in Game 1 of the American League Division Series (1.989 million viewers), up 8 percent from last year’s late Thursday afternoon ALDS Game 1, Blue Jays-Rangers on TBS (1.849 million).
