Fast Affiliate Data (time period based)

Total Viewers:
CBS: 4.62 million, NBC: 3.84, ABC: 3.42, Fox: 1.43, CW: 608,000

Adults 18-49:
NBC: 0.6 rating/4 share, ABC: 0.5/ 4, CBS: 0.4/ 3, Fox: 0.3/ 2, CW: 0.1/ 1

There were three season (or series) finales: sitcoms “B Positive” on CBS, and “Pivoting” and the failed reboot of “Joe Millionaire” on Fox. “B Positive”, which was moved up to the Thursday 9 p.m. ET half-hour (as a test to see if it is worthy or a third season renewal, perhaps), won the half-hour in total viewers (4.41 million) with a third-place 0.4 rating/3 share in adults 18-49. That was perfectly compatible with lead-in “United States of Al” (which is also on the fence for renewal). Here are the fast affiliate results for the Eye net’s two-hour comedy block (which includes an encore telecast of “Ghosts” at 9:30 p.m.).

CBS/Thursday
8:00 p.m. – “Young Sheldon”
Viewers: 6.56 million (#1); Adults 18-49: 0.6 rating/5 share (#1t)

8:30 p.m. – “United States of Al”
Viewers: 5.07 million (#1); Adults 18-49: 0.5/ 4 (#2t)

9:00 p.m. – “B Positive” (season or series finale)
Viewers: 4.62 million (#1); Adults 18-49: 0.4/ 3 (#3)

9:30 p.m. – “Ghosts” (R
Viewers: 3.53 million (#3); Adults 18-49: 0.3/ 3 (#2t)

Considering “B Positive” concluded on a cliffhanger note, my prediction is at least a partial pick-up for next season. For my thoughts, click here

“Pivoting” on Fox, meanwhile, has no shot for a renewal with 953,000 viewers and a 0.2/ 1 in adults 18-49 at 9:30 p.m. Lead-in “Call Me Kat”, starring Mayim Bialik, was equally unimpressive with 1.35 million viewers (#4) and a 0.2/ 2 in the demo (#4) at p.m. No worries, Mayim: there is always hosting “Jeopardy!” to fall back on.

Earlier in the evening on Fox was the conclusion of “Joe Millionaire” with 1.71 million viewers (#4) and a 0.3/ 3 in the demo in the Thursday 8 p.m. hour. That, too, is unlikely to return.

Also on CBS was the soon-to-end drama “Bull” at 4.03 million viewers (#1) and a 0.3/ 3 in adults 18-49 (#2t). You know times have changed when the most-watched show on a broadcast network scores just over 4-million viewers in a time period.

Elsewhere, NBC had a slight advantage over ABC with its “Law & Order” trio: “Law & Order” (Viewers: #2, 4.10 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.5/ 4 at 8 p.m.), “Law & Order: SVU” (Viewers: #1, 4.39 million; A18-49: #1t, 0.6/ 5 at 9 p.m.), and “Law & Order: Organized Crime” (Viewers: #2, 3.02 million; A18-49: #1, 0.5/ 4 at 10 p.m.). The recent return of the parent series is nothing spectacular, no doubt.

ABC, meanwhile, had typical results care of dramas “Station 19” (Viewers: #3, 4.10 million; A18-49: #1, 0.6/ 4 at 8 p.m.), parent “Grey’s Anatomy” (Viewers: #3, 3.76 million; A18-49: #1, 0.6/ 5 at 9 p.m.), and sophomore “Big Sky” (Viewers: #3, 2.41 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.3/ 2 at 10 p.m.). “Big Sky” remains the weak link. And The CW featured dramas “Walker” (Viewers: #5, 908,00; A18-49: #5, 0.1/ 1 at 8 p.m.), its most-watched show, and “Legacies”, which tumbled to just 307,000 viewers (#5) and a 0.1/ 0 (#5) in the demo.
