‘Tom & Jerry’ Streamed in 1.2 Million Households Since Launching

Viewership, to-date, PEaked on Saturday

According to Samba TV, animated theatrical “Tom & Jerry” from Warner Bros. has been streamed in 1.2 million households since launching on HBO Max on Friday, February 26. Viewership peaked Saturday (with 550,000 U.S. households) after 408,000 households watched on Friday night, the day the movie was added to HBO Max’s library. Meanwhile, “Tom & Jerry” made $13.7 million at the box office, according to Box Office Mojo.

Viewership for “Tom & Jerry”  over-indexed in households with a female (+4 percent), as well as Black and Hispanic households, households with people aged 0-19 or 25-44, and households making less than $40,000 or $50,000 to $75,000 per year.


Comparably, “The Little Things”, starring Denzel Washington, attracted 1.4 million households on its opening weekend in late January. And “Wonder Woman 1984”, also from Warner Bros., drew 2.2 million households for its opening weekend.
