    • Seems like it. None of the new sitcoms have done that well except for Young Sheldon and that’s only had one episode.

      • I am wondering how Sheldon will fare. It did so well in both real and delayed viewing so there was obviously quite a bit of interest in it. I think that TBBT’s ratings will start dropping this year and may even limp to a conclusion next season.

        • There’s probably a 90% chance that the next season of TBBT will be its last anyway since the actors are only contracted through then. It will be really expensive to continue the show and it seems like they’ll run out of story ideas by then.

          • CBS will be in a world of pain when Big Bang Theory ends. They can’t get anything to work behind it much like NBC’s problems during “Must see TV” days

            • True of CBS, bu true of all the networks. The other networks no longer have hits and are reduced to spin everything as “huge” while the US TV industry spirals to its death… 🙁

          • Running out of story ideas has never stopped any show… 🙁

As for the contract, why would they not keep on making huge salaries?

      • I think Me, Myself & I will be pulled off the schedule at any moment. CBS cannot move it to the Monday 9 p.m. half-hour. That would only kill Superior Donuts.

    • There’s no hit this freshman class yet again. Good Doctor is #1 (waiting for what will occur with Young Sheldon) but just solid.

  1. The Good Doctor is so good. Glad it is doing well and growing out of Dancing with the Stars week to week. I wonder if ABC will leave it in that slot permanently? Much like they did Castle. I am sure the ABC local news and Kimmel’s ratings enjoy it!

Um Marc, You mean super girl NOT Supernatural in this break down.

I am enjoying the Lucifer/ The Gifted combo.

  2. Totally true. CBS’ situation on Mondays is dire. 9-JKL needs to go as it’s killing what’s left of Big Bang’s once huge lead-in.

At CW, it’s also Disaster City With Valor and Supernatural.

At NBC, The Brave is doing just as bad as 9JKL is for CBS…

At FOX, Lucifer and The Gifted are ratings-dead…

This only leaves The Good Doctor as a relatively good news, which ABC and most of the media are sure to try and sell us as the story of a mega-super-hyper-hit…
