    Sunday Primetime Ratings:

A reminder that the fast-affiliate ratings that came in at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT are not time zone-adjusted and are subject to change for live sports coverage.

Despite that, in these preliminary results, NBC ranks #1 from 8-11 p.m. among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, outscoring that competition in all key measures – adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers — in the fast-affiliate ratings.

In metered-market results, which are time zone-adjusted, NBC Sports coverage of the “Sunday Night Football” game featuring the Dallas Cowboys at the Houston Texans averaged a 12.4 rating, 22 share in metered-market households (not including digital) from 8:30-11:45 p.m. ET, making it Sunday’s top primetime show.

It’s the fourth consecutive week of double digit growth for “Sunday Night Football” versus 2017, with an increase of +17% versus the year-ago Week 5 Chiefs-Texans matchup (10.6/18).

The 12.4 is the best Week 5 overnight for NBC “SNF” since 2015 (a last-minute Giants 30-27 victory over the 49ers, featuring Eli Manning’s 441 passing yards and game-winning TD throw with 21 seconds remaining).

The NBC “SNF” overnight for Cowboys-Texans peaked at 13.3/26 in the fourth quarter (11:15-11:30 p.m. ET).

Live streaming is not included in these NBC NFL overnights – full Total Audience Delivery (TAD) will be issued later and throughout season

The top 4 local markets for the Cowboys-Texans telecast are in Texas: 1. Dallas; 2. Houston; 3. San Antonio; 4. Austin

Top markets for Cowboys-Texans on NBC SNF: Dallas 33.3/51; Houston 32.9/53; San Antonio 26.6/43; Austin 22.4/39; New Orleans 20.6/30; Norfolk 18.2/29; Richmond 17.8/28; Albuquerque 17.6/27; Tulsa 16.2/25; Washington, DC 15.4/29.
