    CHIEFS-PATRIOTS SURGES +34% VS. THE YEAR-AGO GAME; IT’S THE 5TH STRAIGHT WEEK OF DOUBLE-DIGIT GROWTH FOR “SNF”

    Sunday Primetime Ratings:

    A reminder that the fast-affiliate ratings that came in at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT are not time zone-adjusted and are subject to change for live sports coverage.

    Despite that, in these preliminary results, NBC ranks #1 from 8-11 p.m. among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, outscoring that competition in all key measures – adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers — in the fast-affiliate ratings.

    In metered-market results, which are time zone-adjusted, NBC Sports coverage of the “Sunday Night Football” game featuring the Kansas City Chiefs at the New England Patriots averaged a 14.6 rating, 25 share in metered-market households (not including digital) from 8:30-11:30 p.m. ET, making it the #1 highest-rated NBC “SNF” game since Week 1 of the 2017 NFL season and easily Sunday’s #1 primetime show.

    The 14.6/25 is up +34% from the year-ago game in 2017 (10.9/18 for Giants-Broncos). It’s the fifth consecutive week of double-digit growth for “Sunday Night Football” versus 2017.

    The 14.6/25 for Chiefs-Patriots ties for best-ever for NBC’s “SNF” Week 6 game in the 13 seasons of the package (matching the 2015 Patriots-Colts matchup, which featured 300+ yard performances and 3 TD passes apiece from Tom Brady and Andrew Luck).

    The NBC “SNF” overnight for Chiefs-Patriots peaked at a 16.2/30 for the exciting finish from 11-11:30 p.m. ET).

    Live streaming is not included in these NBC NFL overnights – full Total Audience Delivery (TAD) will be issued later and throughout season

    Top markets for Chiefs-Patriots on NBC “SNF”: Kansas City 49.6/67; Boston 34.3/51; Providence 31.1/48; New Orleans 21.7/30; Denver 19.5/32; Norfolk 16.8/27; Richmond 16.8/26; Greensboro 16.6/27; Dallas 16.3/27; Pittsburgh 16.3/25.

    The 49.6/67 local rating in Kansas City is the second-best for Chiefs in NBC “SNF” history.

    ABC Sunday Prime Time (7-11pm – 4.0 million and 0.7/3 in AD18-49):

    · In the 7 o’clock hour against an NFL overrun-fueled CBS (Jaguars-Cowboys), ABC’s America’s Funniest Home Videos increased week to week by 21% in Total Viewers (5.7 million vs. 4.7 million) and by 29% in Adults 18-49 (0.9/4 vs. 0.7/3) to deliver new season highs on both counts.

    · At 8pm, opposite competition from the start of NBC’s Sunday Night Football (Chiefs-Patriots), ABC’s DWTS: Juniors retained 100% of its week-earlier 2-hour debut telecast in Adults 18-49 (0.7/3).

    · Shifting back an hour into its regular 9pm slot against AMC’s The Walking Dead, ABC’s Shark Tank grew by double digits from the prior week’s season opener at 10pm by 23% in Total Viewers (3.7 million vs. 3.0 million) and by 17% in Adults 18-49 (0.7/3 vs. 0.6/2).

    · At 10pm, The Alec Baldwin Show premiere held even with the year-ago episode of the drama 10 Days in the Valley in the hour among Adults 18-49 (0.4/1).
