    1. FROM ABC

ABC Tuesday Primetime (8-11pm – 6.6 million and 1.8/7): With Roseanne shifting back to a half-hour format at 8pm (from its 1-hour premiere) and boosting The Middle to new season highs at 8:30pm, ABC won its 2nd straight Tuesday with Adults 18-49, leading runners-up NBC and CBS by 50% each (1.8/7 vs. 1.2/5-tied). ABC’s Roseanne and The Middle stood as Tuesday’s Top 2 TV shows in Adults 18-49, as ABC’s Tuesday comedy block won all 4 of its half-hours from 8-10pm. ABC’s Tuesday night ranking jumped from 4th to 1st place year to year, improving from the year-ago evening’s all-original schedule by 80% in Adults 18-49 (1.8/7 vs. 1.0/4 on 4/4/17).

Dominating the first half-hours of NBC’s The Voice and CBS’ NCIS to lead off ABC’s night at 8pm, Roseanne changed from a 1-hour format for the premiere to a 30 minute duration on Week 2 and marked its 2nd straight week as Tuesday’s #1 TV show in Total Viewers (15.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.9/16).

      · Isolating its Fast Affiliate delivery in the 8pm half-hour the prior week (17.7 million and 4.9/21), Roseanne delivered strong retention in its time period with Total Viewers (85%) and Adults 18-49 (80%). For perspective earlier in the season, NBC’s Will & Grace reboot held just 70% in Total Viewers and 67% in Adults 18-49 from Week 1 to Week 2.

      · Last night’s Roseanne posted the highest Adult 18-49 rating for any non-premiere comedy telecast since December 2015 – since 12/17/15 with CBS’ The Big Bang Theory.

      · At 8:30pm, ABC’s The Middle shot up from its last telecast two weeks ago by 43% in Total Viewers (8.3 million vs. 5.8 million) and by 57% in Adults 18-49 (2.2/8 vs. 1.4/6) to deliver new season highs. The Middle scored its highest numbers since January 2015 – since 1/7/15. In addition, the ABC comedy was up from its year-ago telecast on the evening (at 8pm) by 54% in Total Viewers and by 57% in Adults 18-49 (5.4 million and 1.4/6 on 4/4/17).
