  1. Been on a few other sites today and the TIU moving debate has struck again and I think this time it actually might be moving next season and the clincher for this is if Rise does well in that slot after The Voice. The two nights that TIU may move to are Wednesdays or the revisitation of Thursdays like they almost did last year.

Wednesdays make sense because if it airs at 8pm it can help out whatever airs at 9pm better than it can whatever airs at 10pm. You can either keep SVU there or go with a new drama and you will be solid because CPD closes the night with a boost.

Thursdays also makes sense because The Big Bang Theory whether it ends soon or not has to be taken down if NBC wants to do a successful two-hour comedy block. Putting TIU there for a season or two will help that because you can leave Will & Grace and Mad About You on in that 9pm hour. The other option is moving Will & Grace and Mad About You to Tuesdays and starting the night with Superstore and The Good Place and TIU at 9pm.

You got a lot of options here but if you’re ever going to move it the time is now or never.

    • I like your Thursday idea if Big Bang Theory decides to call it quits. Would leave a huge vacuum for . I have no clue if there is crossover between Greys and This is Us though. Both probably do skew female. One would have to think Greys has to end at some point.

I advocated a Wednesday at 8PM move last season but most on here kept saying “if it aint broke don’t fix it”

      • Thanks and yeah you’re right that will be a huge question if Grey’s and This Is Us have a huge female skewing audience share and like you said Grey’s has to end at some point as well not sure when though. TIU might kill it if ABC leaves it there.

I still advocate that Wednesday at 8pm move as well and I’ve gotten nothing but the same line. It seems like some people are afraid to move it for no reason. TIU is still hot so this is the best time to move it before it starts to die off in a couple of years. Hopefully NBC moves it to Wednesdays or Thursdays in the fall both nights can use it but with W&G sliding lately it might be needed on Thursdays more now.
