  1. New Amsterdam has a better chance of making it than Manifest. Fox should have swapped their Tuesday shows. The Gifted is not strong enough to anchor a night. While on the subject of Fox, why even put a lot of effort into this night? You’re not going to win. This would’ve been the perfect night to air the animated shows that make money later on in syndication anyway. Then put some dramas on Sundays to reap the NFL lead in.

  2. The good news for NBC is that The Voice is still reliable and TIU has gone through its sophomore season successfully and still doing well but the bad news is that New Amsterdam already looks like it might be a bust for them in the future. I didn’t forsee NCIS: New Orleans having more viewers than it this soon and retention was pretty poor for a series premiere. I think New Amsterdam will slide and slide each week and become a new problem for NBC it’s not going to hold up as well as Manifest honestly.

Remember too that The Rookie hasn’t even premiered yet so it’s already in trouble.

CBS finally got some good news on their end as NCIS is still solid and FBI premiered pretty well for them and looks like it will fit in right behind NCIS all season. NCIS: NO as I mentioned before is a solid option for them at 10pm and didn’t go fractional.

I agree with some people on other sites that DWTS should move to Fridays its run early in the week is done.

FOX should’ve led with Lethal Weapon but I believe Tuesdays next year should feature Last Man Standing and a comedy block.
