Ratings Breakdown:
It was another clean overnight sweep for NBC care of its combination of the first batch of semi-finalists announced on “America’s Got Talent” (#1 for the night: 6.6 rating/12 share from 8-9 p.m.) and two-hours of “World of Dance” (3.5/ 6 from 9-11 p.m.). Comparably, “America’s Got Talent” bested competing “Big Brother” on CBS (#2: 3.9/ 7) by 69 percent in these overnight households. But “Big Brother” was consistent from the year-ago evening versus slippage of 10 percent for “America’s Got Talent.” And “Big Brother” is expected to top the evening in adults 18-49 (and all the key young adult demo groups).

Also original last night was two-hours of Fox’s veteran “MasterChef” (2.6/ 5 from 8-10 p.m.), which was on par from one year earlier. The remainder of the evening was all repeats.
