Critically acclaimed USA Network drama “Mr. Robot,” which proved the cable net could expand outside of the cookie-cutter mold, will conclude with the upcoming fourth season. Production, which begins this winter for an airing in 2019, has been expanded from 8 to 12 episodes.
Debuting on June 24, 2015, “Mr. Robot” stars Rami Makek as Elliot Alderson, a cybersecurity engineer and hacker who has has social anxiety disorder and clinical depression. Elliot is recruited by an insurrectionary anarchist known as “Mr. Robot”, played by Christian Slater, to join a group of hackivists called “fsociety”.The group aims to destroy all debt records by encrypting the financial data of the largest conglomerate in the world, E Corp.
At conclusion, a total of 44 episodes of “Mr. Robot” will have been produced.
