Wednesday Ratings: NBC’s ‘Chicago’ Franchise Dominates; Quiet Season-Ender for ‘Domino Masters’ on Fox

It was a typical Wednesday. NBC was the top-rated network care of the “Chicago” franchise: “Chicago Med” (Viewers: #1, 6.18 million; A18-49: #2; 0.6 rating/5 share at 8 p.m. ET), “Chicago Fire” (Viewers: #1 for the night: 6.63 million; A18-49: #1t for the night, 0.7/ 5 at 1 p.m.), and “Chicago PD” (Viewers: #1, 5.49 million; #1, 0.6/ 6 at 10 p.m.). And “Survivor” tied “Chicago Fire” for first overall in the demo (with 5.15 million viewers at 8 p.m. – #2).

“Survivor” led into “Beyond the Edge”, which dipped to 2.58 million viewers (#2) and a 0.3/ 3 (#2t) in adults 18-49 at 9 p.m. The season (or series) finale of “FBI” capped off the night for the Eye net at 10 p.m.

Elsewhere, “Domino Masters” concluded for the season (or the series) with a modest 1.54 million viewers (#4) and a 0.3/ 2 in adults 18-49 (#2t) at 9 p.m. That led out of “The Masked Singer”, which scored a diluted 2.88 million viewers a 0.4/ 4 (#3) in the demo in the Wednesday 8 p.m. hour.

ABC, meanwhile, was out of the competitive loop care of 8-10 p.m. sitcoms “The Goldbergs” (Viewers: #4, 2.50 million; A18-49: #4, 0.4/ 3), “The Wonder Years” (Viewers: #4, 1.80 million; A18-49: #4, 0.3/ 2), “The Conners” (Viewers: #2, 2.74 million; A18-49: #2, 0.4/ 3) and “Home Economics” (Viewers: #3, 1.77 million; A18-49: #4, 0.2/ 2); and drama “A Million Little Things” (Viewers: #3, 1.62 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.2/ 1 at 10 p.m.). All five series conclude for the season next Wednesday. And The CW featured fifth-place occupants “The Flash” (Viewers: 503,000; A18-49: 0.1/ 1 at 8 p.m.) and “Kung Fu” (Viewers: 469,000; A18-49: 0.1/ 1 at 9 p.m.).
