ABC scored a Wednesday victory, based on the Live+Same Day national data from Nielsen, care of its combination of game shows “Press Your Luck” (Viewers: #2, 3.45 million; A18-49: #2, 0.7 rating/4 share at 8 p.m.), “The $100,000 Pyramid” (Viewers: #1, 3.82 million; A18-49: #1, 0.7/ 4 at 9 p.m.) and the return of “The Match Game” (Viewers: #1, 2.97 million; A18-49: #1, 0.6/ 4 at 10 p.m.). But “Big Brother” on CBS topped the evening with 3.49 million viewers and a 1.1/ 7 in adults 18-49 at 8 p.m. That 1.1 rating should make “Big Brother” the No. 1 regularly scheduled series for the week in the demo. See you later, Frenchie!

Leading out of “Big Brother” was young-skewing “Love Island” at a modest 1.64 million viewers (#3) and a 0.5/ 3 in adults 18-49 (#2t).

In season-finale news on Fox was “Crime Scene Kitchen” at 1.62 million viewers (#4) and a 0.5/ 3 in the demo (#2) at 9 p.m. Lead-in “Masterchef” scored 2.42 million viewers (#4) and a 0.7/ 5 in adults 18-49 (#2t) at 8 p.m. Also concluding its first season was “Kung Fu” on The CW (Viewers:824,000; A18-49: 0.2/ 1 at 8 p.m.), which led into summer dud drama “In The Dark” (Viewers: 389,000; A18-49: 0.1/ 0 at 9 p.m.). Both CW dramas, of course, finished fifth in their time periods.

In the specials department was “Olympic Dreams Featuring Jonas Brothers” on NBC at 2.61 million viewers (#3) and a 0.5/ 3 in adults 18-49 (#4) at 8 p.m. The remainder of the night was repeats.
