Ratings Breakdown:
“American Ninja Warrior” on NBC rose to a season high, with a 3.5 rating/6 share in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. ET. Comparably, that was 17 percent below competing “The Bachelorette” on ABC (4.2/ 7), but it could still be enough to dominate the two-hour block in the young adult demographics. “American Ninja Warrior” was also on par with the 3.7/ 6 on the year-ago evening (while “The Bachelorette” slipped by 19 percent from the 5.2/ 9).

Also original last night was recent Fox entry “Superhuman,” which dipped to a series low 1.5/ 2 from 9-10 p.m. Comparably, that was 35 percent below the 2.3/ 4 for lead-in “So You Think You Can Dance.”

At 10 p.m., NBC reality/competition “Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge” dropped by 40 percent in households from lead-in “American Ninja Warrior,” with a 2.1/ 4.
