With the most anticipated championship just around the corner, fans of the Super Bowl are getting all giddy with the upcoming event. The 2021 season has become challenging for the teams and fans because of the pandemic.

Some players were quarantined and missed certain games, drastically changing the results. Fortunately, effective COVID-19 protocols helped the regular games take place successfully. To help you identify the best players of the 2021 seasons, here is a list of the best seven players of the NFL!

Patrick Mahomes, Quarterback

At the age of 26, Patrick Mahomes of Kansas City Chiefs is the renowned best quarterback. He is the third-youngest player and youngest quarterback in the entire NFL history to be crowned as the Super Bowl MVP when he was only 24 years and 138 days old. Mahomes is also the highest-paid player in the NFL. In 2021, he just entered his fifth season with the Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes completed the 2021 season with an astonishing 4,839 yards throw, 37 touchdowns, 13 interceptions, and a 98.5 quarter rating. The Chiefs finished the season securing their sixth consecutive AFC West title with a 12-5.

Aaron Donald, Defensive Tackle

Aaron Donald is the best defensive tackle player of the Los Angeles Rams. He has won his third Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2020. He became the third player to earn back-to-back defensive player of the year in whole NFL history.

In the 2021 season, he has season-high 68 pressures this season alone, putting him second among all NFL players. With his 61 tackles, he was just eight tackles away with his overall best record. Meanwhile, his 12 tackles for a loss are tied for the season’s ninth rank. Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback

Aaron Rodgers and his team, the Green Bay Packers, had a rough start during the 2021 season as they lost to the New Orleans Saints at 38-3 and were eliminated in the fourth quarter by Jordan Love.

Despite that, the elite player and reigning NFL MVP remained powerful and has become a strong candidate in the 2021 season as he overtook the quarterback of the Buccaneers, Tom Brandy. On Christmas day of 2021, he successfully threw his 443rd career touchdown pass and won over the Cleveland Browns.

However, despite winning over the Indianapolis Colts during Week 8, Derrick Henry’s exciting journey came to a halt when he suffered a fracture. This unfortunate event put him on the sidelines for the remaining weeks of the regular season. Still, Henry is undeniably the Titans’ primary offense in 2021 and has been nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

Travis Kelce, Tight End
