2022 Women’s College World Series of NCAA Division I Softball TV and Announcer Schedule

ESPN will provide full coverage of every pitch from the 40th Women’s College World Series (WCWS), live from USA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Okla. The action begins Thursday, June 2 with a five-day, eight-team, double-elimination round robin tournament, advancing two teams to the finals. The best-of-three championship series begins Wednesday, June 8. WCWS games will be available on ESPN, ESPN2 and, for the first time, ABC.

The eight teams competing for this year’s NCAA Div. 1 Softball Championship are No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 5 UCLA, No.7 Oklahoma State, No. 9 Northwestern, No. 14 Florida, Arizona, Oregon State and Texas.

* Oklahoma is seeking their sixth national title in program history and fourth in the last six postseasons. Should Oklahoma cap off its dominant 2022 season by winning it all, the team will become just the ninth squad in NCAA history—and the second Sooners softball team ever—to collect back-to-back national championships.
* Oklahoma State, making their third straight WCWS appearance, is currently on an 8-game win streak.
* UCLA is making its 31st WCWS appearance, the most of any team in history, followed by Arizona making its 25th appearance.
* Northwestern returns to the WCWS for the first time since 2007; Oregon State, since 2006.
