Animated ‘Disenchantment’ Scores 2-Season Renewal at Netflix

20 New Episodes Ordered

Netflix has issued a two-season (and 20 episode) renewal to animated comedy “Disenchantment,” which comes from “The Simpsons” creator Matt Groening. This will take it through seasons three and four.

Set in the medieval fantasy kingdom of Dreamland, “Disenchantment” follows the story of Bean, a rebellious and alcoholic princess, her naïve elf companion Elfo, and her “personal demon” Luci. It features the voices Abbi Jacobson, Eric Andre, Nat Faxon, John DiMaggio, Tress MacNeille, Matt Berry, David Herman, Maurice LaMarche, Lucy Montgomery, and Billy West.

The second half of its initial order, will air on 2019. Seasons three and four will air in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
