CBS Announces Midseason Reality Series Premiere Dates

'World's Best' and 'Million Dollar Mile' Debut

CBS has announced the dates for new editions of “Celebrity Big Brother,” “The Amazing Race” and “Survivor,” and the premiere dates for “The World’s Best” and “Million Dollar Mile.”

“Big Brother Celebrity Edition” returns for a second season on Monday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. ET. The competition, which has yet to confirm who is participating, will air on every night of the week except Thursday within its three week run. The two-hour finale is slated for Wednesday, Feb. 13 and Julie Chen Moonves will return as host.

On Sunday, Feb. 3, immediately following “Super Bowl LIII,” is the premiere/preview of new talent competition series “The World’s Best” opens with host James Corden and judges Drew Barrymore, RuPaul Charles and Faith Hill. The logline: the competition features acts from every genre imaginable, from every corner of the planet. They not only have to impress the aforementioned American judges, but will also need to break through the “wall of the world,” featuring 50 of the world’s most accomplished experts from every field of entertainment. After the post-Super Bowl premiere, the show moves to Wednesdays beginning Feb. 6.
On Wednesday, Feb. 20 (at 8 p.m. ET), “Survivor” returns for its 38th season.  

The new high-stakes competition series “Million Dollar Mile” debuts Wednesday, March 27 at 9 p.m., after the wrap of “The World’s Best.” The show that features the most challenging obstacle course ever designed will test everyday athletes’ physical and mental toughness. Standing in their way is a group of elite athletes with one mission: to stop the contestants from winning the money at all costs. Tim Tebow hosts, along with play-by-play commentators Matt “Money” Smith and Maria Taylor. 

“The Amazing Race,” meanwhile, returns on Wednesday, May 22 at 8 p.m. ET for its 31st season following the conclusion of “Survivor.” This season will feature former competitors from this show, “Big Brother” and “Survivor.”
